The CowCarbon platform calculates the carbon footprint of beef from the slaughtered cattle in ranches enrolled in the initiative in real time. IF the footprint is lower than the benchmark level, the cattle are verified as "low carbon beef," and the platform quantified the amount of carbon saved as carbon offset credits.
